A Malaysian Driftwood Sculpture Shaped by Hand.

We call this one Fallen Bridge. A tree that has crashed down upon a bridge, splitting it into two, growing into it, reenforcing and strengthening it. In nature this phenomenon born between trees is called Inosculation Symbiosis. This word is from the Latin "osculum" which means "kiss." Inosculation is the joining or uniting of two trees at the roots, branches or trunks... The trees grow so close together that their bark rubs off and they begin to grow together.
